Like Moses denied entry into the promised land, the late Ted Kennedy did not live to see his dream of universal health care become a reality for most Americans. His son Patrick left a note at his father’s grave site with this message:

USA Today has a flash animation of how the Space Station was assembled over the last decade, including the names and purpose of each module. I worked on parts of the program (avionics and mechanical subsystems) and am proud to have been a contributor in a small way, and will remember the relationships and friends I made during that part of my career.

Here’s an interesting short documentary on the second largest oil field in the United States – it’s good for another 50 years. We should try to drill more on land before drilling offshore.
