Microsoft Hiding Facts

Once again, Microsoft attempts to rewrite history. Microsoft has changed their help pages into pure propaganda rather than telling users how to make their music work with iPods. The concept is really very simple, and all computer-savvy people who do tech support, free or not, should be saying and blogging this fact so it hits the average user like a two-by-four:

You can play Microsoft/Napster/Real music tracks in your iPod by burning them to an audio CD then using iTunes to convert the CD into MP3 tracks

    Microsoft updated their site to be less political. They obviously can’t tell their customers how to break their DRM, even though it’s a badly-kept secret.
