Xbox2 SDK released

Microsoft has released its Xbox2 Software Development Kit (SDK). This SDK runs on – get this – a dual-processor Apple PowerMac G5, since the Xbox2 will be based on the same PowerPC 970 chips currently running on Apple’s desktops. However, it appears to be running a Windows NT kernel. I wouldn’t be surprised it it was based on an older 3.0/3.5 kernel that MS released in the mid 1990s when Windows for PowerPC was available on the IBM PowerOpen platform.
