CHP Pursuit of the day

I live in Los Angeles, the pursuit capital of the world; we average about one per day, and most aren’t televised. Fortunately, someone decided to run from the police during prime time. I saw the pursuit on my EyeTV PVR. It lasted about an hour; what made this one interesting was three things:

  • The California Highway Patrol performed a PIT maneuver on a car running on 4 rims at about 40 mph. The car spun around 360 degrees and continued on its way
  • Near the end of the pursuit, the bottom of the car was a flaming roman candle
  • The name of the KTLA reporter
